YFMD-A Series Film Laminating Machine
YFMD-1050A Fully Automatic Film Laminating Machine
The YFMD-1050A is designed for film lamination across commercial printing and packaging production. It handles printed sheets up to 1050 × 1000 mm and supports single-sided lamination at speeds up to 80 m/min, with optional configurations available for double-sided lamination and additional finishing requirements.
Integrated Film Lamination for Print and Packaging Production
The YFMD-1050A combines automatic sheet feeding, surface preparation, controlled heating, film lamination, sheet separation and delivery within one coordinated production line. Its 1050 mm format is suited to printing and packaging companies processing a range of medium and larger printed sheets.
The machine uses PLC and HMI control to coordinate its operating sections. Servo-assisted edge alignment, frequency-controlled operation and synchronous transmission support consistent sheet movement through the lamination process.
Electromagnetic heating and the built-in oil-heating arrangement are designed to support temperature distribution across the heating roller. Electric pressure adjustment, automatic film lifting and paper monitoring functions further support everyday setup and operation.

Key Highlights
Actual operating speed and configuration depend on the printed material, print coverage, film, finishing requirements and confirmed machine specification.
Applications Across Commercial Printing and Packaging
The YFMD-1050A is intended for printed-sheet lamination where a protective or decorative film finish is required. Its format range and configurable systems allow the machine to support several print-finishing and packaging workflows.
Commercial Printing
The machine can be used for posters, promotional materials, printed displays, catalogs and other commercial print products that require a laminated surface. Businesses planning wider post-press workflows can learn more about DSPM equipment for commercial printing.
Books and Publications
Film lamination can be applied to book covers, publication covers, information albums and similar printed products to provide the required surface appearance and handling characteristics.
Folding Cartons and Color Boxes
The machine can support printed folding cartons and color-box packaging before subsequent converting processes. Buyers evaluating a complete carton workflow can also review solutions for folding carton packaging.
Printed Packaging and Bags
The YFMD-1050A can be considered for suitable printed packaging sheets and bag-production materials when the sheet format, paper weight, film and downstream process match the confirmed machine configuration.
Material suitability should be evaluated against representative samples and the intended production process before the final configuration is approved.
A Coordinated Workflow from Sheet Feeding to Stacking
The YFMD-1050A is organized around a continuous sheet path. Each system performs a distinct role in preparing, laminating, separating and collecting the printed sheets.
1. Automatic Paper Feeding
The feeding section includes a pre-loading arrangement, non-stop feeding structure, large-format feeder, suction table and front guide. Servo-assisted control supports sheet positioning before the material enters the surface-preparation and lamination sections.
2. Dust Removal and Front Registration
Before lamination, the sheet passes through the dust-removal and front-guide section. The supplied configuration describes a mirror-finished roller, heated dust removal, scraper cleaning and synchronous transmission.
This stage is intended to reduce loose surface powder and prepare the printed sheet for lamination. Actual results depend on the printing process, powder condition and substrate.
3. Heating and Lamination
The laminating section combines electromagnetic heating with a built-in oil-heating arrangement. It also includes film-straightening, pressure-control and sheet-monitoring functions.
The system is designed to coordinate heat, film movement and pressure through the lamination area. The correct temperature, pressure and line speed must be established for the selected paper, ink coverage and film.
4. UV Processing Section
Where included in the confirmed machine configuration, the UV section uses an adjustable electronic light source whose output can respond to changes in machine speed. The final UV specification and its suitability for the intended process should be confirmed during configuration review.
5. Sheet Separation
The separation section is described with back perforation, a high-speed rotary knife, an anti-curl arrangement, pneumatic perforation and a separating roller.
Optional chain-knife or hot-knife configurations may be selected for particular films and separation requirements. The appropriate method depends on the film type and finished-sheet requirement.
6. Automatic Paper Stacking
The delivery section receives and organizes the separated sheets after lamination. The supplied configuration includes vacuum-assisted delivery, sheet counting, flap handling, photoelectric stack control and airflow adjustment.
An automatic waste-discharge function is also described for handling improperly separated sheets. Its final arrangement should be confirmed in the selected configuration.
Configure the Machine Around Your Finishing Requirements
The YFMD-1050A can be configured with additional systems for different lamination, separation and surface-finishing workflows. Optional items are not automatically included in every machine and must be specified in the quotation and technical agreement.
Double-sided Lamination
An optional double-sided configuration allows both sides of a suitable printed sheet to be laminated within the configured process. The documented double-sided operating range is up to 60 m/min, subject to material and process conditions.
Double Pressing
A secondary pressing arrangement can be specified where the selected process requires an additional pressing stage after initial lamination.
Chain Knife or Hot Knife
Optional cutting systems are available for separation requirements involving tailless film and higher-toughness films, including suitable PET or aluminum-foil film applications. The correct cutting method must be selected according to the actual film.
Online Coding
An inline coding system can be included where the production workflow requires coding during the lamination process.
Corona Treatment
A corona-treatment device can be configured where surface-energy requirements affect downstream printing, box gluing, foil stamping or other finishing processes.
Static Elimination
An optional static-elimination device can help manage excessive static electricity and sheet adhesion in suitable production conditions.
Embossing System
An embossing configuration can be considered when the required finished product includes a decorative textured surface.
The availability and compatibility of every optional system should be confirmed for the final machine layout.
