Corrugated Packaging Applications

Typical jobs include corrugated carton blanks with shaped outer profiles and packaging layouts with internal openings or cutouts. The carton design defines the finished blank and the waste areas created during cutting.

Leading Edge Feeding and Sheet Registration

The leading edge feeding section uses 304 stainless steel feeding surfaces and a design intended to limit surface marking as sheets enter the machine.

The feed table combines conveyor transport with adjustable rubber and brush wheels to guide sheets towards the front and side registration positions. Photoelectric detection supports sheet monitoring during feeding. Left and right push-pull gauges provide adjustment for different print registration requirements.

Flatbed Die Cutting and Tool Setup

The machine body is specified as QT600-3 ductile iron. The die cutting unit incorporates pneumatic frame locking and a positioning system with fine adjustment for tool setup.

A tool-template turning device provides access during setup, while forced lubrication and an oil-air cooling system support the mechanical assembly.

Optional Full Waste Stripping Configurations

Two optional full waste stripping arrangements are described for this model. Their shared stripping function covers internal openings, waste around all four sides and the gripper edge. A conveyor belt carries removed gripper-edge waste out of the machine.

Plate-Type Stripping

Optional

The plate-type arrangement uses a central positioning system to align the stripping tooling during setup.

Needle-Type Stripping

Optional

The needle-type arrangement uses upper, middle and lower frames. The upper and lower frames can be pulled out for frame installation and stripping-needle replacement.

The selected arrangement and included stripping tooling should be specified in the quotation.

Sheet Delivery and Collection

The receiving section combines sheet alignment, photoelectric monitoring and automatic lifting control for the collection table. Two-way air blowing assists sheet collection and pile alignment.

Confirm the collection method and any non-stop collection functions as part of the agreed machine configuration.

Installation Planning and Workshop Layout

Use the installation drawing for the quoted configuration to plan the machine position and access for feeding, delivery, tooling changes and maintenance.

Confirm electrical, compressed-air and foundation requirements before preparing the site. The drawing used for planning should match the equipment included in the order.

DS-1650YQF FAQ

What is the difference between sheet size and die cutting size?

Sheet size refers to the incoming board format. Die cutting size refers to the area available for the cutting layout. A sheet that fits the feeding range still needs a carton layout that fits within the specified cutting area.

Is board thickness alone enough to confirm suitability?

No. Suitability also depends on sheet dimensions, board condition, printed surfaces and the carton layout. A sample review or production trial helps assess feeding, registration and cutting for the intended job.

How should the stripping configuration be selected?

Selection should follow the positions of waste, the size and layout of internal openings, and the tooling setup required by the job. A technical review of the intended carton design provides a basis for comparing the arrangements.

Do the overall dimensions define the required workshop space?

They describe the machine envelope. The workshop layout also depends on how incoming sheets and finished piles move around the equipment and how operators reach each working area. Confirm the layout for your handling methods and site conditions.

How are installation, training and after-sales arrangements agreed?

Check the quoted support scope and responsibilities before confirming the order. The agreement should identify included and chargeable services, engineer travel arrangements and warranty conditions, so the delivery and operating arrangements are clear.
