PLATEN CREASING AND DIE CUTTING MACHINE
ML1100 Platen Creasing and Die Cutting Machine
Designed for paperboard and sheet-material converting, the ML1100 combines an 1100 × 800 mm platen with a stated working speed of 22 ± 2 cycles per minute. Review its application scope, mechanical construction and ordering requirements before requesting a configuration-based quotation.
Final suitability and configuration should be confirmed according to the material, tooling, production requirement and destination power supply.
MACHINE OVERVIEW
A Platen Machine for Creasing and Die-Cutting Work
The ML1100 applies pressure through the platen and installed cutting or creasing rules to form the required shape or score. It supports creasing, die cutting, full cutting and half cutting for suitable post-press and sheet-converting applications.
Machine selection should be based on more than the model name alone. Sheet dimensions, material type and thickness, rule layout, intended process and expected output should all be reviewed before the configuration is confirmed.
MATERIAL SCOPE
Materials and Converting Applications
The ML1100 can be evaluated for a range of paper-based and selected non-paper sheet materials. Actual suitability depends on material thickness, rigidity, surface condition, tooling and the required cut or crease, so application samples should be reviewed before ordering.
Paperboard
For creasing and die-cutting work in paperboard converting.
Corrugated Board
For suitable corrugated-board cutting and creasing applications.
Plastic Sheets
For selected plastic-sheet applications after material and tooling review.
Leather and Cork
For suitable sheet-format cutting work subject to sample confirmation.
Self-Adhesive Materials
For full-cut or half-cut applications based on the required construction.
EVA and Double-Sided Adhesive
For suitable converting tasks after thickness and die requirements are checked.
Typical Processes
- Creasing
- Die cutting
- Full cutting
- Half cutting
- Sheet-material converting
MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
Structure Designed for Rigidity and Wear Resistance
The supplied ML1100 construction information identifies cast, heat-treated and wear-resistant components in key areas of the machine. These details are intended to support structural stability and dependable mechanical operation when the machine is correctly installed, operated and maintained.
HT250 Cast Components
Major cast components, including the machine body and pressure frame, use HT250 gray cast iron and undergo annealing treatment.
Heat-Treated Shaft and Gears
The main shaft and principal gears are heat-treated to improve mechanical strength, rigidity and hardness.
Nitrided Guide Liners
The guide liners use 38CrMoAl material with nitriding treatment to improve surface hardness and wear resistance.
Ductile-Iron Connecting Rods
The transmission connecting rods use ductile iron for a combination of strength and toughness.
Transmission Bushings
Composite transmission bushings and powder-metallurgy connecting-rod bushings are used in designated transmission areas.
OPERATION AND SAFETY
Operating Functions and Safety Provisions
The ML1100 combines platen operating functions with clutch, limit-switch and emergency-stop provisions. Final controls, lubrication arrangement and chase configuration should be checked against the confirmed quotation before production.
Operation Control
The machine supports continuous press-cutting operation and an adjustable opening-delay function for production setup.
Engagement and Tooling
A single-plate electromagnetic clutch is used for machine engagement. The supplied configuration information lists an external movable chase as standard; any alternative chase arrangement should be confirmed during quotation.
Safety and Maintenance
Limit switches and an emergency-stop function are included in the supplied machine information. The final lubrication arrangement and routine maintenance points should be confirmed for the selected configuration.
Operators must follow the final machine manual, site safety procedures and approved training requirements. Safety devices must not be bypassed.
